You didn't miss much. Six wasn't that good. Seven's been a real improvement though, especially the battle mode. I still think Four had the best, but that's just me.
So, uh, I don't know about you, but I've got a real burning desire to play this game now. You up for a battle?
[ He doesn't want to assume too much, considering he's the guest, but if this is the game North has been playing a lot anyway, he's sure he can entice him. ]
[ York flashes him a grin and he approaches the game system to gather a controller to himself. He'll let North turn the system on and get the game started, though. ]
[North grabs the main controller, switching on the TV and the system in a well practiced motion before joining York on the couch. The fact that the game registers in the console speaks to how much North's been playing it.]

[ It would be fresh, hot food, which would be a pretty nice benefit unto itself. No need to be picky. ]

[He grabs the phone and dials the number. It doesn't take him long to place the order.]
Should be here in less than an hour. You warming up?
no subject
[ It's making him a bit sleepy, to be entirely honest. He yawns. ]

[It's what he would do, typically. Just turn on the TV and find something to watch or game or something.]

[ He tilted his head a little. ]
Hey, are they still making Demon Queens? You know, that reality show about the skater derby?

They made another one, huh? I haven't played since Five. I kept hoping to get a chance to play Six, but... [ He shrugs. ]
Does it have a good battle mode?
[ Because if it does have a good battle mode, he knows what he'd like to do while they wait on the pizza. ]

Sure, why not? I'm usually against the computer anyway since the online stuff's been kind of broken lately.

Who's your main?
no subject
Guess he's not in this version. Mysterio.
[ Because of course he'd play the character with the corniest name. ]
I liked the whole shadowy unknown past thing with him.

[It doesn't stop North from laughing a little though.]
I usually play Goemon, but I'll go easy on you this time and go with Linkpit.

[ He grins and picks Daelus, one he remembers as being a tough opponent when he played. ]
You want to eat those words as a side dish?
no subject
[Since both characters are selected, North moves on to pick a stage, choosing a relatively simple one to give them an even playing field.]
