Tex and Gregor had met by chance in Decadia, and Tex had been so eager to service someone that she had given him a blowjob right in the bookshop where he'd been reading. Several encounters ensued, and the two had found a great measure of affection growing between them, despite not knowing that much about one another. Tex had reluctantly had to expose the fact that she was an AI in a robot, a fact that had made it obvious to Gregor that there was some kind of relationship between herself and Church. It didn't come out in the way she had preferred, but it was something Gregor had needed to know, considering the way things were ramping up between them.
Today in particular, they had been lingering together while Tex repaired the car that Gregor had acquired for her. Several trips to the parts store later, and Tex had made some progress... but she'd also stained the pants she was wearing pretty badly, not having prepared for this in advance. Eventually, despite the fact that her robot could press on if she willed it, she looks over at Gregor and sighs, a slight smile on her face.
"Are you fed up with this? I can quit for the day."
Gregor watches that smile, unable to keep one off his own face in answer.
"I'm perfectly happy out here watching you work but if you'd like to be done, we're done. I picked up some proper soap at one of the shops, so we might actually be able to get this stuff off us now."
"All right," Gregor says, wiping his hands with a nearby rag to... mixed effect. "Are you hungry yet? I could make something."
This feels so weirdly domestic for a moment that Gregor is caught up short, his mouth quirking in a smile. It only lasts a second before he's starting to pack up the tools, his face faintly warm.
She shakes her head a little, still smiling. She doesn't feel like reminding him she doesn't need to eat, doesn't get hungry. This is all so nice, being with him, pretending to be a person.
"I can be," is what she replies with. "Are you in the mood for anything in particular?"
"Not in particular. I have chicken in the fridge I can cook, or we can risk it and order out." He looks down at his greasy hands and wipes his brow with his forearm instead.
"Maybe," she teases him, giving him a nudge on the arm. "Are you worried about getting grease on your face?"
She reaches toward him, angling her hand as if to smudge a band of grease across his cheek with her thumb, then instead moves her hand to the back of his head to pull him in for a kiss.

"It's probably best to make myself stop right now. If nothing else, for your sake."
She could continue right around the clock otherwise. It would be good to mix things up a bit.

"We should... probably clean up first, however."
