A dance doesn't mean anything and she could use a real night out, not one where she's alone with her thoughts. She smirks a little as she sips at her drink. When it's empty, she leaves the glass on the bar and motions for him to stand with her. "Think you can keep up?"

He laughs. "We'll find out." He takes up a spot next to her once they reach the dance floor and starts to move.

She's not much of a dancer. It's something she has only ever done on rare occasions and she's never been one to try to impress everyone with her moves. While she's dancing with him, she's keeping space between them. He's a nice guy and all, but she isn't looking to send the wrong signal.

The tequila helps her relax and care less that maybe badass mercenaries did not lack this much rhythm on the dance floor.

After a couple songs he nods his head back toward the bar. "Want anything more to drink?" Otherwise it might be time to cut out. Celebration was one thing but they did have a flight to catch in the morning.

"I'll get one more." She's not too concerned about getting back before it's too late. Her internal alarm clock never lets her sleep in late even when she desperately wants to.

His is similar, but he likes to be early to arrive at places. "One more for me too then."

She thought he was asking to go grab the round, but maybe he wants to sit to drink. She glances over at him and heads for the bar. "Same as before or are you going to mix it up?"

"Gin and tonic, I think, this time." He follows and sits alongside her.

"I'll grab this round." Unless he had some great desire to fight her over it. She opens and closes her tab after she buys their drinks. "Do you already have an idea of what our next assignment will be?"

"I have a couple options. I can send you the details on your COM pad once we head back to our rooms, if you like."

[ghostthatlingers]

"Send them over and I'll try to look at them before I turn in for the night. I wouldn't mind heading out on another job soon."

[bothbarrels]

He nods and takes a drink. "It'll be nice to get your input, since they're both time-sensitive. It's one or the other."

"Same pay?" she asks and watches him out of the corner of her eyes.

[bothbarrels]

"Similar, but I'm pretty sure the lower-paying job can be counter-offered higher."

[ghostthatlingers]

"Have you worked with both of these contacts before?"

[bothbarrels]

"Yes. I'm trying to make sure we get some work with established clients while we're still in the warm-up stage of this partnership."

[ghostthatlingers]

"You know I can line up some assignments with my contacts, too, right? You don't need do all the legwork." And she wouldn't mind dipping into her own resources as well. She didn't want to become completely reliant on his set of contacts.

[bothbarrels]

"Oh, yeah, please do. I didn't mean for it to seem like I was insisting on sticking only to my clients."

"I'll put out feelers and see what comes back. They know me for doing solo work, but I know they often are looking for more and just do multiple contracts."

[bothbarrels]

He nods, then tips his drunk back to finish it off.
